Maya Tutorial - How to Bake Normal Maps from High Poly to Low Poly
This is my first time baking a normal map. It seems to have come through okay but it's looking weird on the lo poly mesh. I was thinking that. Basically Zbrush is limited in that it won't let you bake texture maps (color, normal, displacement, etc) using two different models. I have tried baking in Zbrush using the multimap exporter plugin but I think a lot of the detail from the HD mesh is lost no matter what I do.
